Spenta
The name:
Spenta takes its name from Spenta Armaiti, a feminine principle in Zoroastrian philosophy representing wisdom, devotion, compassion, and nurturing responsibility. Often understood as a symbol of womanhood, she embodies ethical care — toward life, the earth, and one another.
Spenta is inspired by these values, creating space for women’s voices, knowledge, and leadership in health, education, and beyond.
Why Spenta exists:
Women’s health has long been under-studied and under-prioritized.
For much of modern medical history, women’s bodies were excluded from clinical research, meaning much of what we know about health is still based on male physiology.

Yet women’s bodies are biologically distinct. Different hormones. Different disease patterns. Different risks. Many of these differences remain misunderstood, overlooked, or dismissed.

At the same time, many women are not taught even the limited knowledge that does exist about their own bodies. Women’s health is too often reduced to reproduction or appearance, when every system (the heart, brain, immune system, and more) functions differently in women.

We are more than a “bikini model” of science.
Our health deserves to be studied in its entirety.
What we do:
We translate science.
Spenta breaks down emerging medical research into clear, accessible language — without jargon, without gatekeeping. Knowledge should be understood, not hidden behind academic walls.

We educate.
We teach women the foundations of their own bodies, empowering informed decision-making and bodily autonomy.

We amplify.
We highlight women’s experiences globally — from their struggles to their achievements — because awareness is a responsibility, not a trend.
A global feminist lens:
Feminism is still necessary.
In many parts of the world, girls are denied education. Women lack access to essential healthcare. Child marriage, sexual violence, and systemic abuse remain widespread.

Spenta exists to remind us of this reality and to respond to it.

We aim to empower women to educate themselves, advocate for those who cannot, and raise awareness for voices that are too often silenced.
Our mission is simple, yet urgent:
Spenta is not a brand.
It is a platform rooted in care, knowledge, and responsibility.

Our mission is simple, but urgent:
to make the world a better place for women, one step at a time.
